AV Koyilandy conducted its annual Sports Day on 22/12/11 with much pomp and fervour. The event was inaugrated by the Circle Inspector of police of Koyilandy Police Station, Sri. Haridas. The flag was hoisted by the Principal Bri.Sai Chitra. The function was started with the traditional March past along with the band set. All track and field events, including running race,walking race, long jump, shot put, discuss throw, relay, cricket and football were conducted.
