Arts Fest was conducted at Amrita Vidyalayam, Koyilandy on August 8th and 15th in order to give our students the opportunity to showcase their talents. The Chief Guest, Sri Udayan sir who is a Director of dramas, inaugurated the Fest and made it remarkable with his valuable presence. The lighting of the lamp was done by our honourable Principal Chitra ma along with the chief guest.
The welcome speech was delivered by Head Girl Adheena of class 10. Following this Sri Udayan sir spoke a few words. The vote of thanks was proposed by Head Boy Abhinav of class 9.
Arts fest is held every year at our Amrita Vidyalayam, and a large number of students and staff come forward to support and take part in it. Competitions in a wide variety of items such as light music and instrumental music, group song, folk song, dance, mime, recitation in English, Malayalam and Sanskrit, quiz, Ramayana parayanam etc., were conducted. Students right from class 1 were allowed to participate. The audience was mesmerized, watching the enthusiastic and superb performance by the students.
