The schools of Vatakara Sahodaya conducted championship in sports events like athletics, football, badminton, chess, cricket, Judo etc. The events were conducted at different schools. In football under 14, Santhosh Himmath, Akash, Hermith, Ajith, Amith, Aromal of Class IX and Siddharth, Akarsh, Smithin, Abhinand and Ajith won prizes.
Prasin and Aswin of Class VIII and Sobith of Class VII secured first prize and under 16, Sayanth, Aswanth, Abhiram, Akshay, Rohan, Abhijith, Ishan, Raghil, Arjun, Adarsh of Class X and Abhinav , Yadhuraj of Class IX secured 3rd. In badminton doubles under 14, Hermith Babu and Amith Dev of Class IX std secured first. In Chess, Harith Sanu of Class VII and Akash of Class VI secured first, Adarsh Sivakumar and Devika of Class VII secured second and Gayathri of Class VIII secured third position. In Athletics over all, the school secured third position. Hermith of IX and Anagha of IX became the champions under 14 and Swathi Jyotheendran became the champion under 10 category.
