The investiture ceremony is an occasion where the school officially allocates the selected leaders with their powers and position, for honoring the skills of the potential leaders of the future. Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Koyilandy held its investiture ceremony on 15th July 2013, with great enthusiasm. The ceremony began in a very traditional way with the lightening of the lamp followed by the inspirational prayer song. The name of new elected leaders were announced- Kavya K Thilak head girl and Hermith Babu head boy.
The names of the house mothers, house captain and the vice captains were also announced on this day. All the captains and vice captain were adorned with sashes and badges by the respected Principal Brni.Sai Chitra. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal congratulated the selected leaders and asked them to discharge their duties honestly. She also advised the students to be humble, focused on their aims and to be the role models for the coming batches. Her words, were very motivating and encouraging.
Kavya K Thilak, the new Head girl administrated the oath. The leaders in their oath of dedication and faithfulness pledged to discharge their duties honestly, sincerely and to the best of their ability.
