Amrita Vidyalayam, Koyilandy celebrated Gurupurnima with Mathrupuja – the formal worship of mother as God. Br. Vivekamrita Chaithanya, the in-charge of M. A. Math, Kozhikode led the Mathrupuja. Bri. Sai Chitra, Principal along with school choir chanted Gurusthotram while the students performed the worship of the feet of their mothers.
